Keiyôshi, auch als i-Adjektive bezeichnet enden in ihrer Grundform immer auf 'i', d.h. auf die japanische Silbe い.
Beispiele für Keiyôshi:

attributiv vor dem Substantiv | 忙しい人 | いそがしいひと | isogashii hito | beschäftigte Leute |
prädikativ | 人はいそがしい | ひとはいそがしい | hito wa isogashii | die Leute sind beschäftigt |
